The canvas listings name two colours, Natural Beige and Black, and give width and height only. The non woven listing gives a depth of 3.5 inches. Compare more listed bags on bags and totes.
Design to the printing area, not the bag
The easiest mistake with totes is to size the artwork to the bag. The A4 canvas tote is 32cm by 37cm and the A3 canvas tote is 35cm by 40cm, yet both list a printing area within A4. Choosing the A3 bag gives a bigger bag, not a bigger print.
The non woven A4 tote is listed at 11 inches long and 14 inches high, with a printing area of 9 inches wide by 11 inches high, about 23cm by 28cm. If the design must be larger than the listed area on either tote, say so before the artwork is final.
Choose by what goes inside
- Measure the largest flat item. An A4 sheet is 21cm x 29.7cm. Compare that with the listed bag dimensions, and confirm the opening and usable space if a folder or an exact fit matters. A4 and A3 are the catalogue’s bag labels; use the actual dimensions rather than assuming a fit.
- Boxes, bottles or bulky packs need depth. Only the non woven listing gives one, so ask about the canvas bag if depth matters.
- We do not publish weight limits. Tell us the real contents, such as a laptop, books or a goodie pack, rather than guessing a number.
Choose by how it is decorated
- A stitched logo: canvas, since embroidery is listed on the canvas totes and not on the non woven tote. Read about embroidery.
- Silk screen or heat transfer: both totes list both methods.

When to compare a physical sample
For larger orders we can arrange samples or a pre production photo. Ask us during the quote and we will work it in. A sample is worth asking for when the print colour on Natural Beige or Black canvas matters, when the bag will carry something heavy or bulky, or when the order is large enough that a change after production would be costly.
Checklist before you ask for a quote
- Tote: canvas A4, canvas A3 or non woven A4, with the colour
- Quantity, and how many of each colour
- Print side or sides, and the print size within the printing area
- Method preference, or ask us to recommend one
- Number of colours in the design
- What each bag will carry
- Artwork file, prepared with the artwork checklist
- Needed by date, and delivery or self collection

Our non woven A4 tote lists silk screen and heat transfer with a printing area of 9 inches wide by 11 inches high. Send the design and quantity and we will recommend one.
Does an A3 tote mean an A3 print?
No. A3 is the bag size, 35cm wide by 40cm high. The listing still gives its printing area as within A4. If you need a larger print, ask before you finalise the artwork.
How much weight can the tote carry?
We do not publish a weight limit for our totes. Tell us what will go inside each bag and how many bags you need, and ask us to confirm the bag before you order.
